PC vs XBOX
During MS Tech.Ed Sydney a few weeks ago, there was a session on gaming.
Now MS is trying very hard to push its XNA platform, and it is interesting and quite timely now since the industry is trying to push more gaming developers out now.
What is quite intresting during that session was them introducing how MS is trying to tie up its PC and XBOX platform together.
They showed a concept where somebody using MSN Live can IM his friend on their XBOX and invite them for a game of HALO.
Gamer A uses HALO PC, and Gamer B uses his XBOX360. Yeps, different platforms, same game, same stage!!
It's an obvious route though for MS to capture both console and PC gaming markets with this feature...
But then again, this is the company that said it was gonna introduct 1000+ features in its next OS barely 50% of it is getting through...oh yeah and it's delayed of course.
