Lemming's Insane Ranting

So was at dinner with my friend after she kindly lent me her students to abuse use in my usability testing under the pretense that it's good practical experience for their course... when this conversation transpired.

Me:	Yeah, the immigration rules are going to change after the 31st of August
Her:	Oh you know what's the 31st of August? It's Malaysia's National Day.(she's Malaysian and don't you dare give me any lip about you-know-what!)
Me:	It is? Oh... when is Singapore's... erm.. 9th of August?
Me:	(In astonishment) OMG, it's today! Singapore's birthday is today!!!
